How to update the Importify Chrome extension
Reinstall the Importify Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store: remove it, refresh the page, add it again, then test one supplier product page.
On this page
Reinstall the Importify Chrome extension when you want the cleanest update. Chrome usually updates extensions automatically, but removing and adding the extension again forces Chrome to install the current version from the Chrome Web Store.
Why you should update the Importify Chrome extension
Update the Chrome extension to make sure you're using the latest Importify version. New versions can include bug fixes, product-page compatibility updates, and new extension features. A fresh reinstall clears the old version and gives Chrome a clean copy from the Web Store.
Before you start
- Use the Chrome browser on a desktop or laptop.
- Close any supplier product pages you were importing from.
- Sign in to Chrome with the browser profile where you use Importify.
Update the extension by reinstalling it
- Open the Importify Chrome Web Store listing.
- Click Remove from Chrome.
- Confirm the removal if Chrome asks.
- Refresh the Chrome Web Store page.
- Click Add to Chrome.
- Confirm the installation.
Confirm the extension is ready
Open a supported supplier product page and check that the Importify extension appears in Chrome. Then try one product import before you continue working through a longer product list.
If the extension still does not work
Restart Chrome and try again. If the Importify button still does not appear, check whether another Chrome extension is blocking product-page scripts, then contact Importify support with the supplier URL you tested.
