How to Connect Existing Products to New Suppliers?
Connect an existing store product to a new supplier product when you want Importify to use a different source for future order work.
Understanding Importify's Override Feature
Importify's Override feature serves two different purposes:
1. Changing a Product's Supplier
- When you find a better supplier for an existing product
- Use the Override feature to switch suppliers while keeping your original product URL
- Your product stays in your store but is now linked to the new supplier
2. Connecting Existing Products to Importify
- For products that are already listed in your store but not yet managed through Importify
- Use the Override feature to link these existing products to Importify while maintaining their original product URLs
- This allows you to start managing these products through Importify without creating new listings
Step-by-Step Override Process
1. Navigate to the supplier's product page
2. Click on the "add" button on the top left of your screen
3. Click the “Override option” on the top right and pick the product you would like to override to either:
- Update an existing product with a new supplier, or
- Connect an existing product to Importify for the first time
