How to Import Products From 1688 (Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce & More)

1688 is a China-domestic wholesale marketplace from Alibaba Group. That means product pages are usually written for Chinese buyers, prices and supplier terms can be wholesale-focused, and many listings need translation and cleanup before they make sense on a retail product page.
Before you start
You need an active Importify subscription, your store connected to Importify, and the Importify browser extension installed. If you are not signed in when you click Add, Importify will ask you to log in.
Important: sign in to your 1688 account in the same Chrome browser profile before you import. 1688 often hides product details, prices, variants, or checkout options until your marketplace session is active, so open the product page while logged in, then click the Importify Add button.

Translate the 1688 page first
Most 1688 listings are in Chinese. Before importing, use your browser's translate option so you can review the product title, variants, shipping notes, and supplier details. In Chrome, right-click the page and choose Translate to English.

Add a 1688 product and customize it
Open the 1688 product page you want to import and click the Importify Add button. The Importify window opens with the product details so you can clean up the listing before publishing it:
- Edit the essentials: title, description, images, variants, SKUs, tags, vendor, and product type.

Add it to your store
When the product looks ready, click Add to your store. You can publish it immediately or import it as a draft if you want to review the product page inside your ecommerce platform before it goes live.
For 1688, importing as a draft is often the better choice. Check the translated title, variant names, size charts, shipping promises, and any supplier images before publishing.
Check supplier terms before ordering
1688 is built around domestic wholesale procurement in China. Before you sell a product, review the supplier terms carefully:
- Confirm the supplier can ship to the destination you need, or that you have a forwarding/fulfillment process.
- Check minimum order quantity, sample availability, processing time, and return terms.

- Do not assume that importing a product means the supplier supports dropshipping. Importify is a product-import tool, not the supplier or seller of record.
Fulfillment notes for 1688 orders
Importify can import and prepare the product listing, but 1688 order fulfillment is not the same as AliExpress 1-click fulfillment. When a customer orders, you still need to confirm the live supplier price, choose the right variant, and handle the purchasing and shipping process with the supplier or your fulfillment partner.
