What is Importify?
Use this overview before you connect a store or import your first product. It explains where Importify fits in the dropshipping workflow, what the app handles, and what you still need to review before a product goes live.
Importify works with Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and Jumpseller. It supports 25+ marketplaces and supplier sites, has been operating since 2015, and is used by 20,000+ merchants.
How does Importify work?
From finding a product to publishing it, the usual Importify flow has four steps.
Install Importify
Install Importify for your store platform, then add the Importify browser extension if you want to import directly from supplier product pages. See how to install Importify on your store.
Find a product
Open a product on a supported marketplace and click the Add button at the top left of the page. This opens the Importify customization window.
Edit the listing
Change the title, description, price, variants, SKU, tags, vendor, product type, and images before you add the product to your store.
Add it to your store
Click Add to store. Products publish live by default. To review first, switch the product to Draft before importing.
You fulfill the order with the supplier. AliExpress orders can use Importify's Gold-plan order fulfillment flow. Orders from other suppliers are placed manually with the supplier.

How do merchants make money with Importify?
Importify does not make a product profitable by itself. It helps with the product import and listing workflow. Your margin depends on what you source, how you price it, and how well you market and support it.
Find products
Look for items with real demand, clear supplier information, reasonable shipping costs, and enough room for margin.
Import and clean up the listing
Use Importify to bring the product into your store, then improve the title, description, images, variants, and price before publishing.
Promote the product
Use SEO, ads, email, social content, or other channels to bring buyers to your store.
Fulfill orders
Use the AliExpress fulfillment workflow on Gold, or place supplier orders manually for other sources.
Keep the margin
Your gross margin is the difference between your selling price and the supplier cost, before fees, refunds, ad costs, taxes, and support costs.
Who ships the orders?
Importify is not a supplier, warehouse, or shipping carrier. The supplier or marketplace you order from ships the product to your customer. You are responsible for your store, customer communication, policies, and order checks.

What selling rules should you know?
Only sell a branded item if you have permission or a license. Importify lets you import products, but you are responsible for following trademark, copyright, distribution, platform, and supplier rules.
Check the source before you list. Not every site is designed for dropshipping or resale. Read the supplier or marketplace policy, avoid products you cannot legally sell or support, and do not copy brand assets you are not allowed to use.

Do I need my own OpenAI API key for Importify AI features?
No. Importify AI features are powered by OpenAI models and run on Importify's account. There is no OpenAI API key for you to add. AI features are available on Premium and Gold.
Does Importify store my card details?
No. Importify does not store your card details. Shopify and Wix billing is handled through their platform billing. WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and Jumpseller billing is handled by PayPro Global.
Does Importify ship orders for me?
No. The supplier or marketplace ships the product. You place or confirm the supplier order. AliExpress orders can use Importify's Gold-plan fulfillment workflow. Other suppliers are fulfilled manually.
Can I sell branded products with Importify?
Only if you have permission or a license. Importify is an importing tool, so you are responsible for trademark, copyright, distribution, platform, and supplier-policy compliance.
